One year later - broken back is healed!

Remember last year, I fell off my tripod and broke 3 vertebrae and my heel? The doctor said then "a year from now, this will be a bad memory." I had my doubts, but now, a year later... I have to say he was right! I am doing great! It took 10 months for me to not feel it every day.

Be careful out there and keep your cell phone attached to your body, not your pack. You never know when the two of you might be separated!

Yes, indeed. The doctors were all amazed and shocked that I wasn't worse off.
