Harbor Freight Engines

I bought a HF 420 CC Predator engine last year to put on a mud motor kit. I’m looking to do a little work to it for better performance. Do any of you have any experience with performance mods on these engines?

I know people put Stage 1-3 kits on the smaller 198cc engines. Not sure if there is something similar for the larger ones.

Thanks. I’ll check them out. I think I’m going to at least put on a new breather, carb jet, and pipe. It does pretty well as is, but it would be nice to get a little more out of it.

From the reading I did they are a Honda clone, Honda parts May interchange with the Predator.
