Crazy snake id thread

Last night my wife and I are sitting in the back yard having a beer getting the grill fired up. I look out in the yard and ask my wife, is that a big snake or a toy snake. I go take a look and its alive. At this point i am confused as i have never seen a snake like this in the wild. She was pretty docile, and shedding. She didnt care that we were around her. I started looking online and realize its a ball python. I catch the snake, thinking its an escaped pet. We ask some neighbors and one volunteers to put it on the next door app. About an hour later we get a call from the owners. They had lost the snake in August and he had just showed up. They were very grateful, as they had had the snake for 7 years. Crazy deal

maybe 50 yards when we found it.

Very cool. Had a friend with a ball python in high school. Couldn't get that thing to bite if you tried.

There are some crazy python variants out there. All white with smiley faces and whatnot.

Not something you expect to see in the yard. How big was It?

their size stays relative to the size of their home/aquarium. I bet that one grew significantly in the wild.

Should have beheaded it. People who keep snakes and can't contain them ought to be kicked in the taint.

It was very healthy and about 3 or 3.5 feet long.
