Those are two strikingly handsome young men posing with those dead deers.

Casey, what kind of injury did your buck have with his right front? I walk the same way when I have a grass burr in the bottom of my foot, but I think deers are tougher than me.

                    Ha! Congrats on the sausage!

Wasp Jakhammer. Blades took a beating due to the shot being a bit forward and right through the shoulders. He did not go far, though. Easy blood trail. Arrow was 10 feet beyond him after the shot.

                        .

Impressive for a mechanical through the shoulder like that...

I didn't see anything wrong in my quick assessment before cleaning him.

Adam and I hunt together in South Texas. We've killed big deer. Blanco County deer are no slouches when it comes to letting their guards down to get in range. Man they've been a challenge. I was thrilled with this one!

                          14 yard shot with a Mathews Triax. I guess it's a slanger!

Oh, I know. I just hope folks realize that killing big deer doesn't "ruin you". My heart was pounding when I shot this buck. You either get it, or you don't!

They're both going to make great euro mounts!
