Unless you heard reports today, the word locally from insiders was he would likely miss the WV start, maybe 2, but that it wasn’t season ending.

No way yet for anyone to know on Birdsell. Will be 4-5 days post injury. Pitching arm injuries are usually true once any trauma and inflammation have declined and every arm and person is different. I pray the kid is OK with just minor shoulder tissue damages and nothing more

Yup, Birdsell is done for the year. Tough loss for Tech. That makes four of their top end arm (3 starters) lost for the season with injuries. 3 of them are to TJ. All that velo at a young age has a price...

Seems like the bats like to take Tuesday off occasionally. Glad to see them pull it out. The Hispanic Titanic comes though again although he kept this one in the park.
