Yep! Watched the maintenance crews changing oil in one. Those beasts hold 55 gallons of whatever oil it is and the oil has to be heated so it is thin enough to be pumped up to the top. Takes them 4 hours to change the oil/fluid. Pretty cool to watch. Oh, and the guy that climbs up inside the tower to attach the hoses is about 20 years younger than the rest of the crew

I was told it was transmission fluid by guys who clean them when they leak. A lot of them are firefighter rope technicians. They use ropes & go up the inside of them. They make a fortune cleaning them up when they bust a leak. It takes a full day, lots of rope & lots of towels but I think I remember one of the guys saying they (2 guys) get $3K for the day to do the clean-up.
