I've always loved big knives but hunting knives is what pays the bills but, I got off the trend today and made this one. It's 11 inches OAL tip to handle I 6 inches. I used tiger maple with black liners.... it's 3/16 thick. It will chop, I chopped some antlers as I do with my knives and it was cut like a monster. It's 1095 60HRC. I'll finish in a few days for drying time, I like to put on multiple coats of Tru Oil on it, then I'll make the sheath for it.
