Default Anyone have experience with mini split AC/Heat Pump Units?

My heat pump quit working at the barndo after the cold spell. Any you guys familiar with these mini split things? Do they have a capacitor to start the compressor up like the traditional AC units do? Fan works and error code light doesn't show any errors. Compressor just won't come on.

What brand? Call there customer support.

My pioneer outside unit quit and I called and they said it was the control board and sent me a new one for free. Simple fix.

Usually with those things, the board will quit on you first. They are built to fail there first then maybe a major component would fail next. I would bet the control board is out
