South Zone Dove Opener Dilley Tx

Birds flew like we've never seen them flying. Most of the fields planted in Maze and even some goat weed fields that held birds. It was hot and dry out there but we had some cooler evenings with a good breeze. Good times with good buddies and my buddy's pup did good on her first retrieves.

    Good luck to everyone hunting.

Drinking Miller lite bird hunting in Dilley.

Should've stayed committed to the dilly dilly!

I heard a few reports of the same, little to no birds....it's not been this concentrated with birds in thr past. I swear to you a few times it felt like an Argentina hunt with the way they were feeding in thr fields. A few guys had mojos out but every single one of us had daily limits.

We’re y’all right off of 85 on the east side of 35? We saw a ton of trucks lining the fields around there on Friday night on the way to Carrizo.
