Anyone hunting close to Goldthwaite, especially just south and then out towards Star along 84 east you might want to check your camps. Had a pretty good hail storm and high winds go thru the area. Pics from in town on the loop which is also 84 East.

Was that the front just recently going through tonight. I was watching on weather map and it looked to be going north of us, but maybe not

It came thru Gwaite about 5:30 this evening. Waco news said the brunt of it was just north of Star. Not sure what happen out west of town. I do know just north of 574 they had up to half dollar size hail.

Cowboy church just east of the airport on 183s had some big hail.

Our place about 2 miles west of Airport had no damage to anything. Dime size was it.

We hunt about a mile west of the Game Warden Training Center. Looks like I need to make a trip and check out our camper. Thanks!
