Prayers for your baby and all the family...we went through the same ordeal when our daughter was that age. Told us it was grim & to most likely expect retardation / death by her early teens. She's had her struggles & seizures from time to time, but she is a Sr in HS & on the cheer squad & a happy kid. She wants to go to Bible College too. Anything is possible with God my brother.

Curious to what the fix / procedure to cure the gap / leak if you do not mind sharing.

Man, you guys had a rough go of it. Emmie's gap is very minimal thankfully. They pulled membrane from below the gap on the skull and placed it over gap. They think the membrane will help the gap to fuse.

I dropped the ball on the update here! Between the surgery and a key moment in my project, I haven't had the chance to update. I'm happy to say that the surgery went great! She rocked the procedure and recovery. We are at home now and she's on a low dose of pain meds. God is good!
