    coons and my feeder

I have put axle grease on my feeder legs in hopes to keep the coons out of my feeder but I guess I'm going with plan B - carpet tack strips...
Anyone ever use this method and have any luck?

    I have tried them all.
Tack strips just gives them "Gription"...........

A good cage..BIG enough to go around the barrel OR The Eliminator spinner plate is what you are going to hear here, trust me!

Look up shark teeth. They stick to the legs and are very sharp.

I went with the eliminator spinner plates for tree rats and coons and have had good success so far but you need a 12v system or a high torque 6v motor with a 1/4" shaft

Carpet tacks don't work a good cage and coon traps work really well for me

Have heard of using 4'' PVC pipe cut about 5' long, just slip it over feeder legs when they climb up their weight makes the PVC rotate throwing them off

One of my feeders has a cage, and i have very few pics of coons.

this one is a different story. ( multiple pics of teamwork )

Here are the best options hands down:
                              1. Eliminator spin plate($40)
                              2. Big varmint cage Academy($15)

And also start using DP coon traps!!!!
