Stupid hurricane

We were headed to Venice, LA. for some fishing Wednesday but it’s 2020 and the hurricane had different ideas. Some of the people involved can not reschedule any time soon, so question:

Is there a drop off in the fishing in the Spring?

Should we just wait and rebook in October next year?

Input appreciated from those with experience in this area.

Tuna is good now. You can always catch something in that deep water but high season is now.

Talk with your guide about the spring.

Maybe shoot for May 2021 otherwise rebook for August, September, or October 2021.

I've gone in August and had a great time.
