28 Nosler or 7RUM. Both carry plenty down range and the long slender bullet designs far outperforms 30 cal rounds. I know 30 cal has a big following but the BC on the 28 Nosler rules

One of the APR specials in whatever caliber suits your fancy!

I would be taking my APR in 7 SAUM. But I’d have my vortex fury 5000. Or something comparable To take most of the guess work out of it!!!

Glad you’re taking my advice and leaving the bow at home.

Congrats on the hunt. Best of luck to you.

I would take my .300 WinMag. It's light, has nice glass and shoots light out much farther than I can.

On second thought, since you won the hunt, you have extra money and NEED a new lightweight APR custom rifle with Swarovski glass. I would still opt for a .300 WinMag and it would kill the same as my own, BUT it would be SO much cooler with a new lightweight custom mountain rifle!

280 AI with a 160 grain bullet, I wouldn't suggest a magnum just because of recoil and extra weight. But if you want a magnum then any 28 caliber with a 190 grain bullet.

This is the type of hunting I had my 6.5saum built for. Closest factory equivalent is 6.5prc

I would take what I already shoot, a 7mm RUM loaded with Barnes 145 gr LRX bullets.
