Smith? He wasn’t the 3rd string. He started due to better play and not injuries. Or at least that’s what I read on a Lubbock news site.

He competed and positioned himself well towards the end but definitely started out 3rd or 4th string behind Shough and Columbi and maybe Morton. Shough and Columbi both of which got injured during season. Tech had several out as well during the game but overcame. But my comments prior had nothing to do with Tech so not sure how it deflected towards that lol.

I'm in no way a fan of ND but I am of Freeman, for some reason. They're playing well. I'm not sure I care at all who wins that game but would probably prefer Okie Light come out on top.

I look at the Penn State/Arky game hoping both can lose, but then find myself pulling ever so slightly for Arkansas. It's inexplicable but it's my reaction.

Baylor/Ole Miss? Please let both lose that game.

Ohio State/Utah? Go Utes!

Iowa/Kentucky...I'm a bit more indifferent on this one than I am on ND/OSU.
