It's not fun for some of us. Still holding my breath on Aranda and even more so on Grimes.

I suspect Aranda knows he has a great opportunity at Baylor with OU and UT leaving. He'll be paid well, is greatly appreciated and respected and has an easier path to the playoffs than being in the SEC or BIG10.

I could see where Grimes might be offered a nice G5 head coaching job, and if that were to happen, he should take it if he wants to advance his status.

If he's willing to put in the work, it looks like a great opportunity. Kind of wish he'd go to another conference, though.

Other than OU, it would be hard to argue that any other school besides Tech is QBU over the last 20 years or so. Not sure how many QBs they've put in the League but it's been a bunch. Mahomes is the most prominent but there are several others.

Iím not sure how many instate options he has. I donít think Sark is in hot pursuit, as mentioned previously I didnít think heíd rock the boat with Maalik Murphy coming in.

Heís headed to his state title game.

Burreaux is no longer at LSU to make him look good. Plus, he shot his mouth off about how he does not like recruiting.

Hard pass.

If Ewers has learned some humility and is willing to work, I'd happily take him at Baylor. Likewise, I'd take Brennan as well. Never can have too many talented QB's as far as I'm concerned. Baylor may be down to number 3 depending on what happened to Shapen's shoulder yesterday and whether Bohannen's hamstring will heal in time for the bowl game.

Do any of the coaches really like recruiting 18 year old kids? I hope the Aggies can find a spot for him.

There are quite a few Texas kids that may start looking with his departure

Two days ago he was solid to UO, he may stick.

Its apparently a “big deal” because the media brings it up every time he plays an assistant. It’s news, you know kinda like the news that Kansas has only beaten one team in the Big12 twice.

The situation at Miami is so strange. They have offered Oregon HFC their HFC job all while still having their HFC on the job.

Good drama. Similarly, Jeff Lebby, Briles' son-in-law, is the OC at Ole Miss assuming he stays.

Miami, no doubt, but that Nike money would be hard to walk away from. That and the Pac12 is arguably an easier conference to win in.

I was referring to programs moreso than lifestyle.

As far as living....the only thing good about Miami is the gun laws and governor of Florida. That is the negative for Oregon but they win on everything else. Hunting, weather, snowboarding, etc.

So much voter bias all you can do is laugh. The Butkus Award is supposed to be given to the best LB in CFB. It’s an individual award, not a team award.

In 12 LSU games, D. Clark was the leading tackler for every single game.
In 13 UGA games, N. Dean led his team in tackling just once.

Obvious the voters let LSU’s 6-6 record influence their ballots.
Clark was also the leading tackler amongst ALL LB’s

Even against the same competition (ALA) Clark had more tackles and sacks than Dean

Go to eight team playoff and all the guess work is out the door. Maybe the four team playoff brings in more money and viewers. Money rules!

College coaches that want to win donít have time for any of that and itís secondary. Great college coaches want to win and be in a place they can recruit great athletes. Recruiting to Miami is way Easier than recruiting to Oregon. Donít forget Miami was a powerhouse at one time

I would agree in principle but you can make the argument that if you are playing on a better team individual stats are hard to build because everyone Around you is so good. In essence your main competition is on your roster
A great athlete playing on a mediocre team will shine and rack up the individual stats.

Not sure what they were thinking going with only 4
I think they make more money with an 8 team playoff . I mean how many of us arenít going to watch those games?
Once the sec takes in the big 12 teams they will have to go to 8 teams or it will be a complete cluster $$$&

Mountains and snow are far superior to hot *** humid beaches. No contest, especially in the summer.

I didn't know he was a Miami alum. In todays game the money and NIL trump that.
