    Robert Earl Keen, the Texas songwriter known for 'The Road Goes on Forever,' announced he is retiring from touring.

            My best friend is buddies with Randy Rogers, we had back stage year or so ago at Floores when REK opened for them , REK is absolutely one of kind, seen him many many times since early 90’s but hanging out with him was on another level. I’m making it a absolute priority to go see him before he calls it quits.

                        I caught him early 2000 just before covid shut everything down. Best seats in the house and an unbelievable show. Great set list and even sang the Christmas song in February for us.
