I like what Kelly has done so far in the portal. With what we had in the bowl game and being behind in recruiting he has added depth at key areas. Helps from being a complete overhaul next year.

Interesting article on Eric Dickerson. I grew up in Sealy and had the privilege of watching him run. He was a phenomenal baseball player on top of being star in basketball and track. I remember the day he got that car, news spread like wildfire. Everyone knew aggy bought it. It was a done deal. Or so we thought. I remember going to the games and standing next to Fred Akers, Barry Switzer, Lou Holz. They were there in droves. Man those were some wild west times...

Good luck to him in his future endeavors... However, this case is not unlike many others.... A great high school player isn't necessarily a great college prospect.. The same applies to a great college player who may not be a great NFL prospect.... There's a marked difference in a great program and great individual talent... The difference soon becomes evident sooner or later...
