    Honestly, I'd recommend catching pigeons if you live near a grain silo, underpass, etc where they congregate, and he can find people to buy them. I've heard of people paying $6-7/bird since demand for birds has gone up significantly and hatcheries are all sold out. My friend catches them a dozen at a time in his traps. Seems like easy money for a kid if he can find a buyer and catch birds. For finding a buyer, you could probably ask around bird dog training groups to gauge interest.

        This is what I did. I owned a boat before I could drive lol.
        But now I can't stand to mow grass, or dig plant etc
