Kind of comes down to the eye of the beholder. Both are great accomplishments with some degree of luck mixed in.

It depends..... Some West Texas public land is easier to hunt than some East Texas Private land. I have land out west that I could tag out in a day with my bow if I wasn't too picky. I have land in East Texas that would be hard to fill a couple tags in a season.

Killing a deer, especially a nice buck on public land by any means is harder.

As a Native Texan who has chased both Turkey and Whitetail on public and private land in 6 different states now, I don't care what the weapon is, public land is infinitely harder in every facet of the hunt.

If they are shooting crossbows and taking bubble baths, don't even bother. SMH

Obviously quite a few people care. Even you cared enough to post.

The op was having a conversation with someone else and wanted our opinion. Lots of people gave it.

The bath tub deal still has me tripping out.

But I guess man buns, crossbows, and baths are all the rage.

Do you wake up in the morning looking forward to starting your day off with negative comments?
                      Short answer is yes.

Depends on the area. Not apples to apples across the board so hard to just make a blanket statement

That's true to many factors involved.
