Default Feeder Box dimensions question

How do yall figure deer feeder box capacity? Im working on a 600 lb feeder and this is that ive come up with.
30x30x24= 562.5 pounds
Funnel?
Does this sound right for a 600 lb feeder

30x30x30 with a funnel will get you around 750 lbs from what ive been told. That's the size I'm going with but haven't had a chance to weld it up yet and confirm. You shouldn't have a issue holding 600 plus lbs with a funnel if what i was told is accurate.

That's right. The funnel will likely add just over half a cubic foot, so 562.5 plus 30 to 35 pounds is 592 to 597 pounds.

I stand corrected....It will be just under a half a cubic foot (.4) if the funnel is 4" deep, with 30" sides. That adds about 18 pounds of corn; 580 total pounds.
