So if someone that had cooked horse before offers me some to try I would try horse meat. I’ve eaten some things I never thought I would, and liked or disliked after I tried them. Don’t know if you don’t try.

With enough desperation for meat, not sure anything is "off the table".

I'm not there yet, but freezer is getting low so may not be long. Hahaha

My friend has a ranch that has some horses. We had to put one down that got hurt. We butchered it. It was not bad, a little sweet, fairly dry and little tough. The ground meat cooked really well in spaghetti and things like that. I would not buy one to eat, but I guess it was worth not wasting it.

I had monkey and dog in Honduras, I don't see a problem eating horse.

You ate a dog, yet can’t eat a runny egg?
I have eaten a few monkeys myself...

You eat your steak over cooked too?

I'd love to try it. Especially mini-pony!

Never ate any horse unless you count Jack in the Box tacos.

But I'd no problem eating it. Hi Ho Silver!!

According to everyone on here, probably. Like my steaks medium.

I tried it and liked it when I was in Japan. It was raw with a light smokey flavor. I would eat it again.

I think it would be much better if it was finished out, not just running pastures.

Slow cooking it for 20 hrs in that menu doesn’t bode well though, a brisket only needs 12!
You misread marinating for 20 hours and grilled
