1st thing buy a big chunk of coastal marsh for duck hunting, build a nice house on our San Saba place and buy a ranch somewhere in the western states.

With a 500 million cash option I will give away 400 of it. I figure for 100 million I can manage some decent interest paying ventures, while leaving my family set for generations and not take another on call weekend the rest of my career. Boys if I get rich we all will get richer. I can’t see having that much money and not spreading 80% around

Probably a nice Texas ranch 3-4,000 acres and 20,000 acres in The Rockies between New Mexico-Montana. I’d spend a lot of time looking for the perfect ranch.

Buy a nice new house and donate some to charity (or more likely, start my own charity).
