Recommendations for a new vacuum sealer.

My old one died, figured Black Friday I might find a good deal
I don’t want the cheap low end , but don’t want to pay $400 plus on a sealer. What do y’all have, what did ya pay for it, any bells and whistles on it that you like or don’t like?

Just bought my first vacuum sealer this month. Went with the LEM vacmaster 500. Not sure how many bags we sealed, but we went through the whole 8" roll that comes with it and a box of the 14" bags. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it did everything I expected. Got it on Walmart.com for about $225. Sells for over $300 through LEM.

yeah they are, but they are worth the money. I got one and will never have to buy another. I really like mine.

I got mine on sale, think around $750. I think they run around a grand. Bags are cheap. Nothing compares to a chamber sealer.

Vac Master 215 is the way to go.
We not only use it for game and fish, we use it almost every time we grocery shop.

I got mine Sept last year for $550. I just checked and it seems like the going rate is now close to $1000.

Bags are super cheap. It seals like nothing else. For sure a buy once, cry once item.

I was mistaken on my sealer, I just checked the box. It's a LEM max vac 500. I was also looking at the vacmaster, and they ran together in my memory this morning when I posted.

I was given a Food Saver when I was in college 20 years ago and it still works.
