Still after 55 years of hunting the outdoors still amazes me. I heard more gobbling this week then I heard all Turkey season. I had to do a double take when I saw this tom strutting in a roost next to this hen. He was going to town. God is cool.

Never knew that they would do that. I swear I heard one gobble this past weekend, a few hundred yards from the house. I called much of this past turkey season, never got a single gobble. I did manage to call up a couple of birds, but never got them to gobble. The animals are weird, where we are. Coyotes don't bark or yip or howl. Toms don't gobble, but we have plenty of both.
