Thinking of doing a lift pump on my 15 Duramax. Anybody running one? Which brand and did you do the install yourself? Truck is stock except for EZLynk with duramaxtuner.cpm tunes. Just trying to figure out if it's worth it.

Are you having fueling issues? Fuel pressure dipping low on hard throttle? -
It has no power when accelerating from a higher speed. If cruising at 60-70 mph and try to pass it seems to fall on it's face. Not 100% sure is a fuel issue or boost, but I've heard the lift pumps help especially with tuned trucks.Comment

A lift pump is always a good idea. It will help save your high pressure fuel pump and injectors. Also you will get better fuel filtration.Comment

I would recommend that you gauge the fuel line to your injection pump so you can see if it’s the issue. I would want to know where I’m at if it was me. What you’re describing is a common symptom of low fuel pressure and starving your injection pump is never a good idea.Comment
