Good Luck this long weekend and watch out for the wake boats

Good weekend to fish Fork or Millwood! Timber keeps most folks at bay on Fork and the gators keep Millwood cleared out!!!

Headed to the lease tomorrow to check on stuff and see if there's an axis looking to take a ride in the cooler. Sadly he will likely have to crawl in their himself. I'm not really motivated to shoot anything!

My buddy Kenneth Kennedy need some fish for a fish fry this weekend.
They are drawing the lake down in a hurry but we still put 50 dandies in the boat.
All fish caught in 30ish foot of water half way down .
I was using hand tied Naked Tackle jigs , Ken minnows.

Awesome!! I'm sitting here watching a small axis buck wishing I was crappie fishing Fork for 4 days! Camper roof has a leak so glad we came down! That's tomorrow's project!

Hell I don't wanna cut up 2! I couldn't imagine 25! I put my gun in the truck! Done with axis for the year but still got auodad left. Hell I don't wanna mess with it! Gonna slow up my margarita drinkin if I shoot something!![emoji2]

David and Laura Puckett loaded the boat this morning on LOP.
Fish caught mostly on minnows in 30ish foot of water about half way down.
It was a great day to be on the water. Just a little windy but the NarticStar handles the waves well and a nice breeze helps with the heat.
