Got a great soaking rain yesterday am. Also, had several periods of downpours. The wife and I were installing a French drain. It sure made the ground easy to dig! We were soaking wet and didn’t complain once. Glad to get it!

      Rain and Hay

Yep I more 18 wheelers headed West every day towards Texas hauling hay bales. Those things must be worth more than gold now days.

        I think I got 8 & 1/2 drops
Night before weather predicted we could see some decent rain possibly 1-2” & it dwindled quickly

It was more than I expected. I poured out 7/10 of an inch out of the gauge this morning.

We have several young citrus trees we've replaced since the 2020 freeze. We water them on a regular basis. That's the only places we have to mow

Heard a loud clap of thunder this afternoon which was a pleasant surprise. Looked on the radar and noticed it appeared to have missed Sulphur Springs but quickly flared up immediately south of there. Got a lite shower further west for which I thanked God out loud for.

Got close to an inch today west of Springtown!
What a blessing, haven’t been able to grade our road for months, it’s smooth as silk now.

So happy to hear! Hopefully this is just the beginning of more rain throughout the state.

It's rained nearly an inch so far around Lake Palestine this afternoon.

Had some more earlier. Second day in a row. Very thankful.
