Do semi trucks use DEF? ..... and where are the exauhst stacks on the newer trucks?

Yes semi trucks built after 2010 use DEF and most of the OTR trucks have the exhaust ran under neath to help with aerodynamics.

Yes they use DEF most of them run the exhaust down low (no stacks)from the factory especially the aerodynamic cabs

We have Pete’s mostly but one KW and one Mack, all have DEF and regular stacks. All Halliburton KW’s have DEF and single stack behind the cab stack.
The DPF on the Pete’s is behind the passenger side step.
