My first deer hunting adventures as a wee tot were spent laying on a blanket on the ground underneath my mom's tripod, until I was old enough to walk the West Texas canyons with my dad. Moms rock, especially moms that can hunt. I bet your mom can also make a mighty fine cream gravy to go with those chicken fried axis backstraps!
