Anybody got any wade fishing spots in/around CC that they can recommend? I wanted to try the Ocean Dr bridge on Oso Bay but I read that it is too muddy.

This. You can park all along laguna shores rd on both sides. Also the east side of the jfk causeway before the bridge can hold some good fish as well. Park pretty much under the bridge on the north side and wade in between it and the channel.
