Awesome, great deer!! I'm fortunate to have accepted a position with my current employer and will be relocating to Amarillo to live. I'm excited about the opportunity to get to hunt back in the panhandle again. Once again congratulations!!

Nice kills ArturoV!!!! I hunted 1 season up in Roaring Springs just S of Matador. It was definitely beautiful country up there. Arrowed what could've been my biggest buck to date but shot was bad. Good thing my lease mate saw him a week later and put some lead in him. Hey DuramaxDude thanks for sharing these pics as well and info. I wouldn't hesitate one bit to get on a lease up around thataway.

The first mule deer was near Amarillo but the rest were right there near Turkey. PEople don't think of the panhandle when they think of hunting but I have seen MANY B&C whitetail and mulies up there as well as huge hogs. There are even elk and bear coming down the Canadian River from NM.
