Gun safe in the garage?

Anyone keep their gun safe in the garage? I’m needing to clear up some room for our incoming baby and am either going to have to sell my big safe or move it to the garage.

I am worried about the humidity living where we do but was wondering if I could just run one of those small dehumidifiers in it?

I did mine in San Marcos, bolted to the floor. Gave everything a light rub down before it went in and a dehumidifier bar and no issues for 5 years.

No dehumidifier in mine and I’m in it all the time. Dallas area. No rust. All guns go in clean / oiled.

Mine stayed in the garage for 30+ years with zero issues. Have a Golden Rod in there to take care of any humidity.

X2. I also keep a bag of uncooked rice in the safe, it absorbs any moisture the dehumidifier don't get.
