Corn oil. Deer like corn don't they?

Used fish oil from your fryer.

Deer love the smell of white bass, and if you made hush puppies, it’s even quieter.

On something like that, I would just flood the heck out of it with WD-40. It can blast into all the nooks and crannies that grease can't and will wash out any dirt or manufacturing contaminants in the process. As a lubricant, WD-40 is relatively short lived, so be prepared to do it again every two or three years.

Krytox grease but at $400 a tube use sparingly.

Mix the vanilla with Vagisil Best of Both Worlds. So if you're sitting there and you have an itch you can fix that too. ;-)

I put bearing grease on my 3 tripods in September and they still do not squeak. We have photos of deer coming in that same day after we put the grease on, too.

Lol, thanks for the info guys. I’m going to first point with the stand, so that’s why I’m overthinking everything. The deer out there pick up on everything. I think I’m gonna go with the white grease. That’s what I was thinking to use anyway, though the vagisil sounds like it could work...... Too bad I’m single and don’t have any around the house.

Is that steam turbine rack grease?

I had the same problem with mine last year...greased it heavily and it still squeaked. Wrapped a piece of of ziploc freezer bag over the post and have not had a problem since.
