    both homes that we have owned have been all electric and we have never had a single issue with cooking on electric appliances. We have a Ceramic Glass electric cooktop and love it.

      Gas first, and run a line out for a grill and fire pit while you’re at it.
      If you can’t do gas and get tired of eating out look into induction over standard electric cooktops. The induction units are pretty powerful and versatile.
      I do kitchens for a living, Mrsailfish is dead on recommending all drawers in your base cabinets.

        That spice rack is something I will look into. Doing a little research on the induction looks promising if gas is too complicated. Anything will be better than the old coil system I have now.
