      Not sure about the tours but Safari Winery is definitely one to stop by and check out.

        Sister creek , Becker, hye whisky company and some others on 290 and 1376
        Eat a burger @ Alamo springs or bbq @ blackboard on 1376

          Really nice ones are Safari, Messina Hoff, and Grape Creek. Other popular ones are Fatass and Fiesta. Theres also a new one right next to Grape Creek (Heath Sparking wines) that was a interesting tour.

          The new Altstadt brewery is suppose to be the Bees Knees.

          All mentioned are in about a 5 mile stretch of 290 just east of town.

            Yes Altstadt is great. Good beer and some good food also.

                      das peach haus was kinda neat. Mostly because of all the other goodies besides their wines. Breakfast at Sunset Grill pretty good too.

                          It's more of a laid back spot, but we really enjoy Vintners Hideaway. It's downtown, a block off of main street.
