Virginia Turkey Hunt in the Snow (mostly pics)

I had to work in Chattanooga TN this past week. My Grandparents live on 240 acres in SW Virginia. So, after working, my son and I went to visit them and do a little turkey hunting. Despite the snow and high winds we got one, a 22 lber with a 9 inch beard and 1 5/8 inch spurs.

I love turkey hunting VA. I used to hunt Quantico for birds in the spring or head out to Winchester and hunt the National Forests. Nice Bird!

That's awesome, beautiful country and you didn't have to worry about snakes and ticks, like the rest of us.
