Just had a big buck come through. Possibly the big one I saw Friday. Stayed on other side of creek. Closest shot was 40 but hat brush in the way. Wasn't real interested in grunts. Got the ticket up anyway. Stay tuned, it could happen any minute.

Well we had a good one to go get out of the woods this evening. One of the guys killed muley, probably a low to mid 50's deer, we'll put a tape on him tomorrow. Chicken and dumplings for supper, and celebratory whiskeys after ripping the britches off the ol' buck. We're going to bed, it's been a long two days.
