Man that was one heck of a cat hunt! Fine specimen at that.

I bet you sleep 3 days straight when you get home.

I skied 3 days, just got home last night...slept like a baby for the first time in a week.

Did you practice at home shooting at such steep angles before you went? I know I'd have to climb an oak tree and put a target up there to get some practice or I'd probably sail every arrow on my quiver haha

Did you not keep the meat? Everything I've heard and read is that they are pretty good and been really interested to find out first hand how they taste.

How many points do you have? Utah?

I did not practice shooting at a severe angle like that, but certainly wished I would've. There's only so much practicing you can do though, nothing will prepare you fully for that moment completely out of breathe with a lion staring back at you. Fortunately I had four arrows!

I did not keep the meat. I told myself beforehand I was going to at least get the straps, but by the time it was all said and done I was so beat I completely forgot about it until it was too late. Definitely would've liked to have tried it.

Yeah, he has my Dall Sheep, and I stopped by before I left for Utah to check out his cats in person. They looked good to me!
