Don’t run the sawzall, or jig saw blade very fast.

Score along a straight edge (2x4) with a heavy utility knife & new blade.
Place said 2x4 under the mat stood up on 2” side in-line where the score cut is.

Stand on each side and finish the cut. The 2x4 will open up the cut and make it cut easy.

Thus true on tin but I never tried it on stall mats.

Grandpa didn’t have carbide teeth on his blade though

I used my oscillating tool with fine tooth/metal blade. Cut it like butter without a ton of shavings.

Just finished my horse trailer. A utility knife is the way to go.

Right here.....zero fighting. A woman could do it.

Best way I’ve found is with a utility knife.

Thanks guys. Always good info here. Think I'll put a utility knife blade backwards on my skill saw and bend it over a 2x4 and have my wife cut it like butter.

As long as you don't have to do it is all that matters

Kind of on topic, best way to cut metal roofing panels? I have a metal cutting saw but dang it is heavy and I’ll be working off of a ladder. Have used regular cordless skil (circular) saw in pst and it seems to work ok. Anything wrong with using a circular saw or any tips to make it easier?
