I shot this boar about an hour before dark. Never seen one with this many battle scars before.




We took girth and length measurements but will let people guess the weight first.

Right at 270 by that formula

Not unbelievable but heavier than I would have guessed from pictures provided

I’ve seen that formula overshoot more often than not. It usually gets you ballpark though. I’m going 220-225 unless we can get better pics. He’s a big pig, but he’s far from huge.
