    Fishing in boiling H2O

The only window this wkd for me to take the boat out fishing is between 4-8pm today. It’s going to be over 100 on Lake Lewisville. Far from ideal conditions, but it is what it is. I figure my best bet is going after catfish (unless you have a better suggestion). Any advise for fishing in these conditions?
    Thank you

Throw out noodles. Sit in the shade, drink beer, watch and wait.

You could try to catch some sand bass in grapevine lake. I hear it’s pretty good

This is probably the direction I’m headed.

Tie off under the bridge and sit in the shade.

This two posts have it about covered. I would add take your swing trunks and take a dip in the lake between beverages!

Slow jig the shaded side of a hump, in full sun like a man

I’m sensing we aren’t talking about fishing anymore

Yeah I’ve caught more fish in the heat than cold. Sand bass would be my target.

Slabs on humps during the heat and look for birds / schools.

                      LOL

Lewisville is wild. I’ve been flashed more than a few times while slabbing.
