In the blind with my 11 year old trying to get his first. He got lined up on a doe early this morning but I farted around too long making sure he wanted the doe and not a buck I’ve been seeing. She moved off. This spot does better in the afternoon anyway but felt we had to make the sit on a crisp morning.

Took my 8 year old daughter on her first hunt with me last weekend. Saw a few but no shooters. Still had a great time. Hope she stays interested as she grows up. No one passed this down to me, so I’m hopeful to start it with this generation. Good luck out there yallComment

We had a great day...saw 2 legit shooters, but they stayed 300+ out and wouldn’t commit to coming any closer. Had a 3 year old come in to 225 yards that I hope like heck makes it through the year. He’s a main frame 8 with mulie splits on his G2’s and is a breathtakingly beautiful buck. My daughter was pumped up to say the least. Unfortunately, she had already committed to going to her cousins this evening. So she will have to wait till next week to hunt after school and see what happens, because my wife is hunting this coming weekend
