It's been raining slow and steady here for a couple of hours already. Everything is getting a thorough soaking. I'll check my rain gage after it gets light outside.

I'm in a ground blind in San Augustine county. Good light steady rain right now but it looks like it might get a little western late this afternoon and early evening according to future radar.

Christoval lease got a another good rain at 4am. Not sure how much but there is a good puddle in the feedpen.

When I left the house at 6:45 there was 1 1/2” in my gauge with steady rain predicted till noon. East Parker County

Well I am stuck in an airport in Minnesota because of the rain back in Dallas—I am not going to complain because we really need the rain but I sure hope I can get home today at some point

Looks like we have gotten about an inch so far north of Brownwood. It sure would be nice to get a 2-3" **** floater on top of the saturated ground to fill up the tanks.

Amen to that. My lift cables were just barely reaching the water last week and then they opened the gates on Granbury this week intending to draw it down another foot and 1/2. Hoping this rain event is enough to at least overcome that loss. Been nice seeing water in the river again though.

I appreciate the rain, just wish it could have happened before/after this weekend. I’m out here on pre-planned PTO. Haven’t gotten to hunt at all today. It’s been non-stop
