    Over engineered custom boat accessory

We had a plastic pos up on the console of the boat for drinks and small stuff. It broke and wasn't quite big enough. I had some time and some spare aluminum so I modeled this up and made it. Turned out great. Now I need to take it in and get it anodized. Got it finished and took it to the coast two days later.

Great work! Just a note, the vibration of the boat is going to rub the paint of your Yetis where metal meets metal.

Could open up the holes by double the thickness of moleskin and line it.Going with hard anodize? Good job fellow machinist

Acceptable terms. Not going to worry with it. I was worried they wouldn't stay put but they held in there just fine.

Nice work, would be nice to have a CNC mill, someday. I have an old Bridgeport, it gets the job done, but it's slow. Did you make drain holes in the phone holder? It looks good, and you don't have to worry about the sun rotting it. Where are you getting the anodizing done?

We use a shop in Waco to anodize our receivers. I'll call them. There are drain holes.

That why I’m glad the cup holder on my burn bar and leaning post have the rubber inside them. Plus the noise will drive you crazy.
