    Wind/Cold

I'm not ready for this cold front to be here. I'm built like a polar bear, but dang sure don't want to live like one. I may be out on island alone. I prefer 90 degree days over being cold.

    Cold any day over heat.

I am not talking about a single degree chill factor or blizzard conditions. The upper 20s at daylight and 40s as a high are way better than 98° and 90% humidity on the upper coast.

Ditto TVC. I’ve hunted in 17 degree weather at the Salt Fork of the Red River. I’ll take a moderately cold winter over summertime in Houston any day. Most of the time it feels like four different degrees of heat instead of seasons.

Certainly don’t take any young kids outside.

The cold fronts make you appreciate the warmth more. You should be thankful one has rolled through!

            No doubt about it.

I don’t like skeeters eating me alive nor having to move fast on harvest in the heat sweating

Let us know how you feel about cold when it's 6 below zero again in February for 4 days. No power, no gas, no nada. I'm a fair weather guy. I like the cool October mornings and shorts weather in the afternoons.
