    Pittsburg county Oklahoma lease

My landowner has asked me to post another lease for him. It’s 400 acres west of Kiowa. I lease right down the road from here and there are a ton of deer. He (actually his son) is asking $8k for the lease and no more than 4 members. I might be able to talk him down to $7500 for 3 hunters but not sure. I’ve posted quite a few of his leases over the years and everyone that is on them are happy (all TBH guys). Legal bag limits apply and family oriented lessors are preferred.

I’m terrible. Messed up both posts. It’s east of Kiowa.

Great area, I hunted around Wardville for a couple years! One of the best places in Oklahoma I’ve hunted!

What does a Non Resident Hunting License cost and how long does Deer Season last? Deer, Turkey, Bear, Elk to hunt? Inquiring minds would like to know!

$300 for bow, season is October 1 into January

$300 for muzzloader, season is 8 days I think

$300 for Rifle, season is 15 days.

Can't hunt at pigs at night either unless you can prove predation/destruction of crops or something else.

                  9 day muzzle loader
                  16 day rifle

You can hunt hogs at night as long as you have written permission from the landowner ( text message is fine) and you apply for the free permit. I always let the game warden know as a courtesy.

It’s deer, pigs and varmints. I’ve had one bear on camera in 2.5 years. That’s a good thing in my opinion. We fought them way too long in push county

So $900 to hunt all three?

That is correct, if you want to use all 3 methods.

Pigs do not require a license.

                            On private property
