Do you give out your email address?

I just went to the gun range and they required my email address to go shoot there.. I said I don’t share that and they said that I needed to go someplace else then so I did. I mean totally within their rights but why on gods green earth would they need your email address?

Am I weird for walking on that?

Make a throw down email address. For things like that I use one that I made approx 10 years ago and no longer look at.

      I have two.
I use one for stuff like this and the other for business.

No your not weird and I hope a lot people tell them to kiss where the sun don’t shine. I just tell people that I don’t have one and if that’s not good enough I find their competitors.

just create a second burner email address to use when you don't want to give out your main one. seems like a lot of effort to just not give out an email address

It makes no sense that they would turn down recurring revenue from you just because you didn't want to put down an email address. That was a bad move on their part. Was it just because you said no that they felt they needed to flex on you?

Sometimes you just gotta give them that look, chuckle in their face, and give a fake email address. LIFE just aint that hard to be upset over a bad business decision.
