My yoder blower motor froze up while I was cooking a brisket two days ago. Had to finish it in the oven. Thank goodness it had been in there 6 hours and had a good bark. Was going to use this as an opportunity to repaint and repair. Question is, what’s the best way to get all the grease and crap off and clean before I paint? They (yoder) use some bull crap no prime paint that’s garbage. Anyone have any painting secrets they want to pass along as far as what to use?

It fits the smoker with a comp cart. If you don't have the comp cart, I don't think it would make a difference
