    Granger hunters

    Anyone know if I can access comanche bluff from camanche bluff road or is it private? If so, anyone know the best way to get there other than a boat to cross the river with?

    Got a ride up the river via jon boat and walked that last year at GRXH 2008 and I think it is all private on the back side.

      long walk in from highway 95 or the primitive camp ground,ran into a land owner over there last year,he wasnt a very freindly guy

        comanche bluff

        off of fm1331 turn north at the water treament plant county road 496 stay on the paved road till it comes to a cull de sac take hiking trail to the west.20 yards in start looking for hogs.

          thats along ways from camanchee bluff if im thinking where your talking about,your talking about the trail thats about 3 miles from the primitive campground

            thats the spot a long hike.another option you are able to cross the river at dickersons bottom a 3 foot jump.

              Were is dickersons bottom? LOL Three foot drop and wading in cold water sounds better than walking three miles

                dickersons bottom is on cr 347 were everybody whitebass fish.about a 3/4 mile east of the railroad tracks.
